4 Reasons Why You Can Do It

It doesn’t matter what task that you have before, you can accomplish it. You are God’s nominee to get the job done. Don’t allow obstacles to stop you from being victorious. Here are four quick reasons why I believe you have what it takes:


1. You are alive

People that are alive have a very big advantage. They are not dead.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to change your circumstance.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to make it happen.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to make a difference.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to impact your generation.

There was a reason why Herod wanted Jesus dead.
There was a reason why the devil wants you dead.
Dead people are no threat to the living.
When you are alive you have the opportunity to get a picture of who you are.
When you are alive you have the opportunity to help someone.

Just because you are alive you are a threat to the enemy.
That is why there is always an attack against you.
You hear things like, “you aren’t anybody”, “you are crazy”, “you are never
going to be nothing”

Use your life to make it happen.

2. You Were Born Able

“11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.” (Exodus 4:11-12) God explained to Moses he made his mouth. No excuse is legitimate with God.

“ 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” (Numbers 13:30-31) When God says empowers people to say go and posses the land he’s telling you that the way is prepared, I gat this, just take over cause it’s yours.

How many times have you heard things that belong to other people and they don’t have it? This is because someone else took it over. When he said go posses the land, you think the all knowing God didn’t know that giants were going to be there. In any circumstance you have favor, giants or not.

3. You were chosen for it.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”(I Peter 2:9) Most definitely you were selected, picked out, chosen because God had his eyes fixed upon.

Out of all the choices in the world God chose you. When your father impregnated you mother you were created. It could have been someone else. You were the one to make it out of your mother’s womb. God chose you for a reason and you must consider yourself special. More special than candy actually you’re the Apple of God’s eye.

After all that don’t you think it will hurt God if you say I don’t want you? You were chosen for a purpose and God intends for you to fulfill that. God knows what he was doing when he made you. The choice you made can affect your journey (to better walk with God, life, relationships, better grades, scholarship, career, etc.)

4. God Has Your Back

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”(Is 41:10)

When people turn on you God will stand for you. You know why God allows it to look like you are failing or can’t do it? His strength is made perfect in weakness. The exciting part of the movie is when it looks like the bad guys win then all of a sudden…. You know what happens.

How do you see your life? By the media? It’s easy to give up around negativity. Don’t just stand by watching to see what happen. Who is going to reach this world if you don’t help?

5. You Have The Tools Needed

The Word of God
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
(Psalms 119:105)

The Name of Jesus
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
(Rom 10:13)

The Blood of Jesus
“ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
(Rev 12:11)

Are You Putting Faith in the Wrong Promise?

Faith in the wrong thing is like living in a fairy tale. The sad thing about it is, that you often find yourself never wanting to come out and face reality.

I confess. I've done it. More than once I've done it. I believed. I believed with all of my heart that God would spare me of a painful situation. I was sure things would be as I envisioned, as I believed. The problem was, I believed the wrong promise.

Why is it that as Christians, as humans, we seem to think tough things shouldn't come our way? Why do we think we should be protected, shielded, untouched? Where did this belief come from? How is it that we latch on to this as the promise to cling to?

There are many verses that lead us to see otherwise. "In this world you will have troubles" (Jn. 16:33). "When you pass through the waters... When you pass through the rivers... When you walk through the fire" (Is. 43:2). "We are hard pressed, perplexed, persecuted, struck down" (II Cor. 4: 8-9).

I don't notice a maybe, perhaps, if, or possibly in these verses. No, instead, I see words like will, are and when. I've had it wrong so many times. I've wanted the promise to be that "it" would not, could not, happen. I was believing the wrong promise.

But even if the dreaded "it" happens, we have promises we can rely on. "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." (II Cor 4:17)

In his book It's Not About Me, Max Lucado says the following of Paul's words to the Corinthians:

The words 'weight of glory' conjure up images of the ancient pan scale. Remember, two pans, one on either side of the needle. The weight of a purchase would be determined by placing weights on one side and the purchase on the other.

God does the same with your struggles. On one side he stacks all your burdens. Stack them up, and watch one side of the pan scale plummet.

Now witness God's response. Does he remove them? Eliminate the burdens? No, rather than take them, he offsets them. He places an eternal weight of glory on the other side. Endless joy. Measureless peace. An eternity of him. Watch what happens as he sets eternity on your scale.

Everything changes! The burdens lift. The heavy becomes light when weighed against eternity.

If you look back at each of those verses, he offsets each of those situations with Himself. "You will have peace. Take heart! I have overcome the world"(Jn 16:33). "I will be with you. The rivers will not sweep over you. You will not be burned" (Is. 43:2). "We are not crushed, not in despair, not abandoned, not destroyed" (II Cor. 4: 8-9). These are just a sampling of the promises found throughout Scripture.

We are not promised a life of ease and comfort. We are not promised escape, rescue, tearless, pain-free living. We are guaranteed quite the opposite. BUT, we are promised, beyond the shadow of a doubt, God's presence, peace, joy... His very self through it all. We are promised the heavy will become light when weighed against eternity.

So often I find myself believing the wrong promise. But as Natalie Grant stated so well in her song Held: "The promise was... when everything fell... we'd be held".

That is the promise. It is one worth clinging to. That is the promise to clasp for dear life. The promise that when everything feels as if it is crashing around you, that you will not survive, that it so very dark and more than you can take... you will be held. Held in the very palm of the Heavenly Father's hand. Now that is a promise worth believing!

Friend, what promise are you believing today? Are you believing the wrong promise? Or are you believing, in the midst of it all, that you are being Held? Are you believing that regardless of what is yet to come, you will be Held?

The two of us had very different financial upbringings. My husband, Eric grew up with many of the frills of life even though his single mother often couldn’t really afford the luxuries they enjoyed. Yet, he knew how to go without just fine too. The thing he hadn’t really practiced was saving money. He could go with or without it, but if he had it, that cash would burn a hole in his pocket and escape.

I, on the other hand, had lived with very a frugal family. My parents had their sights set on buying a house and saved every penny in that endeavor. So, I saved too. And I figured we would skip eating out, movies and pretty much every luxury in our attempt to finance college expenses and saving for a house.

Boy, was I wrong!

Eric wanted to enjoy our marriage and celebrate life. Somehow, that equated spending money. Nearly every time we would walk into a store together I would hold my breath, cringing over the things he would want to buy. As I look back on it, he didn’t want any thing all that extravagant; it was just that I had expected something different than he did when it came to handling our money.

The real heartburn came when I would try to convince him that he shouldn’t buy something. I hate to see wives nagging their husbands, and I didn’t want to join the ranks of hen peckers. But I was the one who balanced the checkbook and tracked our available funds. So sometimes I was just operating out of my save, save, SAVE mentality and other times there really was no money for the item he wanted.

If I forced my opinion in the matter, Eric would relent, but I felt guilty. I felt unsubmissive and out of order. Besides, my husband was incredibly generous with me, and I wasn’t as generous with him. We needed someone bigger than us to fix this problem.

I began praying over the issue, my attitude included. The Lord began to show me that neither one of us was right. As flawed people we often don’t have God’s perspective on the issues of life that snag us. It isn’t a matter of he’s right and she’s wrong. The Lord showed me how I felt that life was more manageable, more in control, my control, if there was money in the bank. If control was my motive for saving, it was wrong. If good stewardship was my motive for saving, that was right. But a right action with wrong motive is still wrong!

A good friend and I began praying Scripture over our husbands together. Finances were an issue for both of our marriages. We began to pray that God’s truth would wash clean all of our notions about handling money so that we would be united in His truth rather than divided by our own opinions. My friend, Lisa, also held me accountable to letting God do the work instead of me doing the nagging. When Eric would want something I didn’t think we could afford, I would simply pray that God would lead Eric to be a good steward of His money. I might share my opinion but would let him and God make the final decision. I prayed that God’s Word would ring louder in my husband’s ears than my words.

Today, things are different. Eric balances the checkbook so he always knows how much cash is available, and I don’t have to convince him of what we do or don’t have. He seeks the Lord’s counsel on even relatively small purchases in his endeavor to honor the Lord with all that He has given us. Eric has taken godly leadership of our finances and that friction that existed before has dissipated.

I have changed too. I don’t need that control and my faith has grown. I have learned to trust that God is working inside Eric, I don’t have to play the role of his conscience. Even when I feel like I can’t trust Eric to make the right decision and I am tempted push my “right” opinion on him, I can be quiet and patient, trusting God to work in both of us, even in our mistakes- mine included!

We don’t have a perfect perspective on money matters. We are still learning a lot. But we are learning together and are drawn closer as we search out God’s opinions rather than pushing our own.

Just the other day Eric told me the Lord had been teaching and changing him in regard to money matters. It wasn’t something he had sought out, but something the Lord had just done in his heart. He said he knew it was because Lisa and I had been praying for him. Whose words do you want ringing in your spouse’s ears, yours or God’s?

Trusting God when you can’t trace him

So many times you are in a situation and you are looking to find help to get through it and you hear “just trust God” , and your reply “how can I when ….” I know the feeling.

Do you remember when God lead the children of Israel by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night? “21The Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. 22The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people”. Exodus 13:21-22 (Amplified Bible)

Well I believe you would agree that they were used as signs to let them know that God was with them. This method was also used for God to let them know when it was time to stay still or time to move.

Obviously the use of their senses played a significant role in them learning how to trust God because they responded according to what they saw.

Let’s look at the word trust:
1. Firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing.
2. Something committed into the care of another; charge.

If you have ever worked a day in your life you definitely have some experience in this. You trusted your employer to pay you at the end of the week so you gave him your time and work. How about trusting in the promise of your parents who said they would give you a specific gift for your birthday or Christmas.

Yes it is easy to trust or rely on God when you see the evidence of a pillar of cloud or fire in your presence. The challenge comes when there is no evidence of him. How do you hold on and keep trusting God when there is no sign of his presence. Nothing to see, nothing to touch, nothing to feel. There’s no trace.

Trace:
1. To follow the course or trail of.
2. A visible mark, such as a footprint, made or left by the passage of a person, animal, or thing.
3.Evidence or an indication of the former presence or existence of something; a vestige.


I’m sure you would have had experiences where it feels like God is nowhere around. So do you stop, give in throw in the towel and pack up on God and life?

Let’s see what God is doing during these times:

1. Sensitizing your ear to hear his voice. - Is 55:3a
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live;

2. Strengthening your faith - Rom. 4:20-21
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform

3. Developing your patience - James 1:3
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4. Preparing you for his glory - Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

Faith is a Verb

Hello again and hope you had a great weekend. Well as you start another week I do hope you have great expectations for something good to happen in your life. Here’s something to remind you that you have to put your faith to work:

"Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?" And they took offense at him... And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.
Matthew 13:54-58

One time in the Gospels it says that Jesus didn't do much in the town "because of their unbelief" (Matthew 13:58). Wouldn't that be an awful thing to have said about your home, about your family, about you? Jesus couldn't do much in or through you because of you just didn't believe Him. "Lord, why don't You do more in our church?" Could it be because of people's unbelief?

Faith is the key. God's promises are activated by faith. Faith is not passive-it's an action verb. Don't say, "Well, I'm just waiting here. Maybe God will work; maybe He won't." What are you doing about it? Well, not much.

It's like the sick guy who needs to get better, but he doesn't go to the doctor. That's foolishness. You've got to do what you can.

Like the girl who is looking for a husband, but never goes to the Young Adult meetings at church. She just sits down in her basement. "My husband will have to find me here." Yeah, that's not a great plan. Do what you can!

Like the person who's filled with concerns and wants to have hope, but has never read the Bible.

It's God promises that give us hope. How many Scriptural promises do you know? How many promises have you memorized? How many are on the tip of your tongue? Well, no wonder you're filled with anxiety! No wonder you don't have any hope! You're not holding onto anything.

Get your heart around some of the exceedingly great and precious promises of God! Hold on to what God has said in His Word. Someday you're going to be in a difficult situation and the enemy will be try to pull you down but you've got God's Word hidden in your heart. His words will flood you with courage and fill your life with faith.

"God helps those who help themselves" is not in the Bible but it is a biblical concept. Faith has to be active to be real. Remember the guy in 2 Kings 5 who had leprosy and God told him he had to go dip in the river? In faith, he had to do what he could. Like the woman in poverty in 2 Kings 4 who had to collect containers to hold all that oil God was giving her - she did what she could. Like a warrior heading into battle, he has to pick up his weapon.

Put some action behind what you believe and watch God work.

Lord, I never want there to be a day that You can't do Your work in me because I just don't believe You. Increase my faith today, Lord. I believe that You are able to make all things are possible. Amen.

Going Deeper:
1. What am I believing God for right now for myself? For my family? For my church?
Are there steps of faith I can take as I wait for Him to work?

2. Are there areas of unbelief in my heart? About what? Talk to the Lord about it today.

Issue # 13 - Don’t get another ‘D’ in this.

From A - Z… the series continues, letter ‘D’

How many times have you passed by an incomplete building? Heard persons with great plans for their life but it never happened? Or maybe even you had a personal project you started but you dropped it somewhere along the line. What caused you to drop it? I’m sure you had no intention of dropping it because the excitement and energy you had you were willing to do it all by yourself.

Obviously something happened along the line which took you off course. That’s’ why I’m glad for the letter ‘D’. It is where we find today’s word determination. As you and I know from experience that desire alone doesn’t get things done. One of it’s supporting factor is determination.

determination: Firmness of purpose, perseverance, steadfastness

Not because you get a D grade or failed your last venture means you should never attempt it again or give up on everything. You must realize you will never get the support you want. Remember, it’s how bad you want it? The force within you has to be greater than the external force for you to blow away your opposition. Either that happens or you will cave in and quit.

“Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough” .

In life there are always situations that try to speak to you and tell you that the odds are against you. This is only a test and therefore your grade is a result of what YOU decide to do after this.

No teacher ever spends hours in the classroom trying to help you turn out to be a failure. It doesn’t take much effort to do that. Do nothing and you will succeed. God is always trying to teach you important lessons in life to make the grade. Whether he does it directly or through other means it’s up to you to apply what you have learnt.

If you are determined to make the best grade you must have stick ability. The ability to hang in there no matter what. God is looking for some people in this generation to join our forefathers in making the honor role. You have to have the attitude that if it doesn’t happen today I’ll be back on the job tomorrow.

Even if your life’s story never makes it on the 6 o clock news, published in a book, featured on Oprah, or become a motion picture, be sure of this- God has it recorded in heaven. Imagine making it in Heaven’s Hall of Fame.

You must aim for a better grade by:

1. Staying connected to your teacher and greatest help -“For the Lord GOD will help me…” Isaiah 50:7 (KJV)

2. Keep fueling up your faith - "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God". Romans 10:17 (KJV)

3. If necessary change you strategy or approach.

4. Take a 5 -Yes rest. It will allow you to be revived and sometimes give you fresh new ideas to get it done.

5. Read & talk to other people- Hearing others peoples success will keep you motivated.

Issue # 11 - What’s it going to ‘B’ ?

From A - Z… the series continues… B

You enter a room with yellow & green decorations to attend an important function. The room is filled with people dressed in various colors. Conversations are heard all over the room as you
hear music playing lightly in the background. People are trafficking in and out of the room as you stand at the entrance.

As you look around you notice a few chairs remain at the left side of the room. You are escorted to that area of the room where you pick the chair of your choice. You decide to pick the very first one nearest you.

Immediately after you are seated, you are presented with a colorful program for this event. The cover reads "2008 Believers Convention". My, what a timely topic.

Yes, I agree. Today we are going to look at a word that shapes the mind and heart of many people. The decisions that you make depends on your outlook of this word. This week’s word from the letter ‘B’. It is the root word found on the cover of your program. It’s the word believe.

Believe :
1. To accept as true or real: Did you believe the news today?
2. To have firm faith, especially religious faith.
3. To have faith, confidence, or trust: I believe in your ability to solve the
problem.

Did you know that you just applied this word a few seconds ago. Yes you just made an important decision from it that could have caused an injury. Remember when you sat down? Why did you sit in that chair and did not check it? Can I answer that for you? Because you believed that it was going to hold you right? Now imagine that, believing and putting faith in something that you saw for the first time and didn’t think twice to inspect it.

"Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact" .

I don’t think we have a problem believing, but what we have to believe in is where the challenge is. Isn’t it strange that we can quickly believe in something that was made by man.

For instance, you are in need of directions to get to a certain destination. You ask a stranger to help you. Immediately you do what they said because you believed what they told you. Isn’t that the kind of method that God wants from us? To believe him according to want he said.

Would You Ride In This?

A story is told of a great circus entertainer Charles Blondin who stretch a long cable across Niagara falls. He walked, ran, and even danced across the tightrope. Once he took a wheelbarrow across it and amazed the crowd by pushing it across the cable from one side to the other.

He then turned to the crowd and asked "Now how many of you believe that I could push a man across the cable in the wheelbarrow?" People cheered and held their hands high. They believed he could do it.

"Then," asked Blondin, "would any of you please volunteer to be that man?" As quickly as the hands went up, they went back down. No one would volunteer to ride in the wheelbarrow and trust their life to Blondin.

I know that I am running out of time so I’m going to hurry up. My friend, real faith is activated when you act on what you believe. Could this be the reason why you are in your present position.? Is your belief getting the right results? What you believe in has no power until you demonstrate that you are supporting it.

Let me say, it’s time for the things that you believe God wants to happen for you to be seen. What wheelbarrow is God waiting for you to get in and risk your faith. If you truly trust God you have to get in and let him carry you over to the other side.

Take The Limit Off Yourself - Pt. 2

Today I begin with a story of a man born in 1925 to Japanese immigrants, graduated at 15 from Thomas Jefferson High School in Los Angeles. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, he and his family were sent to the Manzanar Internment Camp in the California desert. He learned sketching techniques from two internees who were art directors at film studios.

After his release, he contacted Disney Studios, knowing little about the animation industry but remembering the name from his Manzanar tutors. Despite a lack of formal training, he landed an interview with Walt Disney Studios when he returned to Los Angeles.

Asked to bring in a portfolio of his work, he was puzzled. “I had no portfolio,” he told Animation Blast magazine in a 1999 interview. He didn’t have much of an idea what a portfolio truly was. He spent the weekend before his interview sketching anything he could think of — from knights to cowboys — and filled up his notebooks. The results landed him a job as an assistant illustrator at Disney, where he worked from 1947 to 1961.

That man was Iwao Takamoto, the artist who created the mystery-solving Great Dane, Scooby-Doo, among many other indelible cartoon characters.

In your efforts to make your dreams come true, what do you see? Well dreamer, before you are victorious you must see yourself victorious. If you don’t, then you will see the opposite picture. If you see yourself as a failure, then you will lean towards that picture and meditate on it. If you meditate on something long enough you will begin to believe it and live it. You need to be careful who you hang out with. If you want to be eagle minded then you need to stop hanging out with pigeons and turkeys. You will never go beyond your limit if you don’t change your mentality. Have you ever heard ? “as a man thinks in his heart so is he..”

Sometimes this calls for isolation and separating yourself from some people. Talking to the wrong people will cause you go in the wrong direction.. Wrong direction leads to wrong destination, Wrong destination -- > Unfulfilled purpose. Unfulfilled purpose -->Displeasing God. Displeasing God --> ………I’m sure you’re getting the picture. Separation doesn’t mean that you are no better than anyone, but you gatta do what you gatta do. When too much people are involved then there’s possibility of more negativity. Majority don’t always mean the right way. So if it comes down to just you and God then do it.

At times you have to be like a band or choir director, notice what happens. They take there position carry out their assignment, then sit down. Obviously there weren’t worrying about what the crowd thinks, whether you like it or not they did their job. God only wants to work with those who believe it can happen. Doubters and unbelievers don’t last long with God. Imagine God who speaks things into being and you telling God that it can’t work. I’m sorry but you won’t last in the kingdom like that. Serious people are willing to work on their own if they have to.

Dealing With Giants & Difficulties

The reason why some of us are not further ahead is because of the giants we see. We lose focus by meditating on how big the giant is. This is the devils way of getting fear to take hold of us. Fear will cause you to run when you are suppose to be still and stand still when you are suppose to move. Then there is the fear of not having enough for the dream, idea, goal to be fulfilled and completed. When we believe that we don’t have enough we stop dreaming. That’s an insult to God, it shows no faith, “..but the just shall live by his faith”. Habakkuk 2:4 (KJV)

Yes that means looking for that car, house , preparing to go in business, preparing to go to college and NOT having all the money. I hope you don’t believe that all the successful persons you have heard of just sat at home until they got all the money. When you begin to move towards the dream God will provide for it. Don’t you know that the God of the dream is also the provider. Will you be the reason why your dreams go unfulfilled? My friend there is nothing wrong with God, if any blame is to be taken the lot will fall on you but I pray you won’t let that happen.

Because you feel the trials are more difficult, it doesn’t make God nervous about him being able to come through for you. Before God gave you that dream, it was already provided for. You was fix up before you started, but you still have to go through your faith test. Here’s what happens, God give you his report (word), then the devil gives you his report. Then comes your part “who’s report will you believe?”.

Will you pass? or will you fail? To pass means to hold on to your faith until manifestation comes, to fail means to give up. God is in the business of producing successful students, because he is a God of excellence and productivity. Keep moving towards your dreams.

Take The Limit Off Yourself

I know you have ideas, dreams, desires, goals, vision inside of you that are burning to be fulfilled.Whether it’s starting a business, going to college, becoming a doctor, changing career,
writing a book just to name a few. Then all of a sudden you are faced with opposition and then you begin to hear so many voices speaking opposite to what you have been dreaming about. Do any of these sound familiar? “You’re to young, not enough money, no one ever did it before, to many people failed at it, you will look crazy, it won’t last”.

Now before this, you had high expectations and believed it was all possible until you faced these oppositions. You even saw yourself living it out until YOU started to allow these voices and thoughts to distract you. These comments come from friends, family, parents, young people, Christians, colleagues, etc. Now all of these people together are not as effective as when it comes from you. Even the devil himself cannot be a greater obstacle than you.

It is when you begin to say “I can’t, and it will never work, nothing good will ever happen to me, my family is like this, I will always broke”. My friend you can be your greatest enemy. The greatest fight you will ever come to face is the one with yourself. That’s the one you cannot run away from. When someone commits suicide it is the result of an individual agreeing to turn on oneself.

If the power of life and death is in the tongue, then you need to be careful of what comes out of your own mouth. This is how you begin to put a limit on yourself and box yourself in. What you also do is tie God’s hand from operating in your life.

Before we go any further let’s take a look at what this word limit means. Limit:- (1) The point, edge, or line beyond which something cannot or may not proceed (2) To confine or restrict within a boundary or bounds.

I know my time is running out so let me move on quickly. When you begin to put a limit on yourself, you carry yourself to a certain point and don’t believe you can go any further. Or is it that we don’t want to make the effort to go any further because of the obstacles. Let me ask you some questions. How did you get where you are now? Did you had to go through obstacles? Were you faced with opposition? Didn’t it start with an idea or dream? So if you came from that place to this place overcoming obstacles then why can’t you move from this place to the next place? Why are you limiting yourself?

Who did the desire come from? If it came from God then who do you think will give you the ability to fulfill it? Who do you think will supply all that is needed to carry it out? The reason why you are doubting is because you believe that you are going to do it own your own.

Have you ever heard “..Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts”. Zechariah 4:6 (KJV). Have you ever heard “…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”. I John 4:4 (KJV) , or “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help”. Psalm 121:1 (KJV) Have you ever heard “For with God nothing shall be impossible”. Luke 1:37 (KJV).

When Mary heard that she was going to give birth to the Son of God she was frightened and could not understand it. Imagine if that was to happen today, boy what would be the reaction of people? But she submitted herself to God for him to have his way. This was a supernatural encounter. If you are willing to trust and work With God he can make it happen.

So if you were thinking about aborting that dream you better get out of that abortion clinic Now. Don’t focus on the natural circumstances or surroundings, just the fact that you have it circulating in your mind and your heart makes it a possibility. You just need to make up you mind and say I will make it happen.
