Hey there, you are now a few days into 2012 and I want to know if you have decided where you are going? This is very crucial if you are going to win in this year. It is pointless to just hope for the best. You must have an idea of what the best is and where to find it.
How are you going to get to a destination if you haven’t decided on where you want to go? If you just want to go for a ride then the devil will send one of his agents to assist you. So being specific is the better way. In order to hit your target you must first aim at it.
All the best to you on your ventures this year and beyond. May the road you take lead you to God’s destiny for you.
Here is a quick devotional for your inspirational reading:
Conquest to Victory
"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly"
(Romans 16:20).
This promise follows well upon that of last week. We are
evidently to be conformed to our covenant Head, not only in His
being bruised in His heel but in His conquest of the evil one.
Even under our feet is the old dragon to be bruised.
The Roman believers were grieved with strife in the church; but
their God was "the God of peace" and gave them rest of soul. The
archenemy tripped up the feet of the unwary and deceived the
hearts of the simple; but he was to get the worst of it and to be
trodden down by those whom he had troubled.
This victory would not come to the people of God through their
own skill or power; but God Himself would bruise Satan. Though it
would be under their feet, yet the bruising would be of the LORD
alone.
Let us bravely tread upon the tempter! Not only inferior spirits
but the prince of darkness himself must go down before us. In
unquestioning confidence in God let us look for speedy victory.
"Shortly." Happy word! Shortly we shall set our foot on the old
serpent! What a joy to crush evil! What dishonor to Satan to have
his head bruised by human feet! Let us by faith in Jesus tread
the tempter down.
(Daily Devotional)

Do You Agree?
George Eliot
One of the biggest obstacles you can face at times is getting people to agree. This is something that all of us can identify with. You may have faced it in
your family, neighborhood, church, school, or at work.
Yes, all of us have a right to different views and opinions. My concern today is do we really give one another a chance to openly share before we immediately oppose? You don’t have to agree with everything I say.
Before I run out of time, here is what I want you to consider:
Today I speak life over…You.
In addition to that I speak strength to… You.
I also believe that there is hope for… You.
It doesn’t matter how you feel I pray health upon… You.
What happened yesterday leave it behind… You.
It will be better for the long life God intended for… You.
May you always have peace with… You.
No need to worry because God always surrounds… You.
May that help to keep alive the joy within… You.
I pray that your walk be right so that blessings will overtake… You.
Keep moving forward because favor is following…You.
Be careful what you do because somebody is watching…You.
Be careful what you say, your words will help… You .
Don’t give up, keep trying because success awaits… You.
Always keep your head up because Jesus will come again for… You.
Why am I doing this because God loves… You.
And my question to you, “Do You Agree?”
Take care until…......and God Bless ya

Stop Boring Your Angels

I know many days it feels like every thing that could go wrong has gone wrong. What I want to help you realize is why is everything going wrong. Before you jump to any conclusion please give me another moment. Not everything that goes on wrong in your life originates fromexternal sources. If you allow me to ask, what if the problem is you? I know that may be hard to swallow but I do include myself also in this scenario.
Here’s the deal, the words that come out of your mouth can produce good or evil fruit. This means it will result in life or death, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" Proverbs 18:21 (KJV).This is why the current affairs of your life should not surprise you at times. If stop to think long enough you will remember some words that you have said in the past.
Let me help you, “Nothing good ever happens to me” , “I hate my life”, etc. Today I come as a reminder to let you know that you must watch what you say. Not only you hear what you say but there are angels and devils also listening.
God has special angels that he has assigned to your life. Let me inform you that you are responsible for giving them work to do. Every good word that comes out of your mouth you are keeping your angels active. Imagine declaring “I will have favor today”. “The Lord is blessing me right now”, “All my needs are met”, “God shall supply all my needs”, “I am in good health”.
Every statement like these you are declaring by faith. As you do it your angels are doing their part to work it out. All you have to do is keep putting these positive words in the atmosphere. Many times we allow our angels to get bored waiting around for us to give them an assignment. Are you guilty of this offense? Imagine having all the personal help you need and not taking advantage of it. Your angels are ready to defend, provide, protect.
On the other hand every negative word spoken you attract evil spirits and devils. Most often it is because of this why so much drama is in your life. You say “I’m broke”, then you end up with broke drama, “I can’t see no way out”, “Ain’t nothing good coming out of this” , “things are going to always be like this, “I don’t feel like living.”
Whatever you speak is what you will give permission to add to your life. Sometimes our environment and upbringing contributes to this. It doesn’t matter how long something has been going on in your life remember you have the power to change it.
If you find it difficult saying positive things there are always resources out there to help you. You can learn how to get a smart mouth. Why don’t you help your angels start making some good things happen for you.

Warning : 4 Things Your Friends May Be Doing To You

“Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate”.
Thomas Jones
I want to talk to you about this subject that will have a great impact on your life now and later. I know it may seem bold of me to make this claim even before I tell you these important facts. I know that I only have a few minutes of your time but I’ll hurry on if you just give me a few.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Oh no not the television show. I am talking about the ones that are a part of your life. These are the people that have the potential to add value to your life. You must be careful how you choose them because your investment of time and effort is too precious to waste and become unfruitful. So here it goes: -
1.Friends influence your tomorrow.
You must realize that these are the ones that will be in your future. This is why it is important for you to know where you want to go in life. If you don’t make a decision about your destiny then someone will make it for you. If these are people you will spend time with then you need to at least make sure you want to head down the same road. Whether you realize it or not tomorrow is coming faster than you realize. You don’t want to get caught by surprise.
2.Friends push you closer or take you away.
Do you know what your life’s assignment is? Yes, you came here for a purpose. That is why you need to be in pursuit of discovering it. The more you are aware of this then it will help you in your choice of friends. As you aim to fulfill your purpose you will get joy in connecting with people who will help push you closer to it. Otherwise, if allow, there will be volunteers that will gladly take you swiftly away in the other direction.
3.Friends increase or decrease you.
As allow people into your life you will notice signs of increase or decrease. This can be from anything along the lines of knowledge, wisdom, experience, money and the like. Take the time to know yourself. You should be able to discern what is going on with your life and see what changes are taking place. Bear in mind you must be willing to give and take because you have to also add value to others life as well. So don’t be too quick to release others before necessary.
4.Friends help give birth or abort.
After all this time I know you must have a dream inside you that you want to give birth to. This can be a critical stage in life because you must be careful who you share your dream with. Everyone cannot handle what God wants to do in your life. There are some people that appear to be happy for you but are only camouflaging what they really feel inside. Because there has been so much failure in their life they don’t want to see you succeed. That is why some people try to get close to you in order for them to get a good shot at aborting your dream.
It would be kind of you to share your thoughts on this matter.

There are certain things in life sometimes you don’t agree with, especially when the true meaning of the subject somehow gets lost. It only takes one person to get the truth twisted and it seems like others spread it like wild fire.

Choices: 11 Tests To Help You Know If It Is Right Or Wrong
Some things must be tested by other methods and from different approach. Thank God I came across something that can help both of us.
As I was looking over some material to prepare for a youth session the following information stood out to me. The good news is that you came to mind. Whether I know you personally or not you are still special to me because you took the time to read this.
I know you may be in a hurry so let me speed on with this. The following is an excerpt from “The Teenage Q & A Book” by Josh McDowell & Bill Jones. I see these as things even adults can put into practice. It sure will help us live better lives.
“When you wonder if something is right or wrong, ask these questions. They will help you make the right choice:
1. The Personal Test: Will doing it make me a better or worse Christian?
2. The Practical Test: Will doing it likely bring desirable or undesirable results?
3. The Social Test: Will doing it influence others to be better or worse Christians?
4. The Universal Test: Suppose everyone did it?
5. The Scriptural Test: Is it expressly forbidden in the Word of God?
6. The Stewardship Test: Will doing it involve a waste of God’s talents invested in me?
7. The Missionary Test: Will doing it likely help or hinder the progress of the kingdom of God on earth?
8. The Character Test: Will doing it make me stronger or weaker morally?
9. The Publicity Test: Would I be willing for my friends to know about it?
10. The Common Test: Does it reflect good, everyday, common “horse” sense?
11. The Family Test: Will doing it bring credit or dishonor to my family? ”
That’s it for now. Be sure to familiarize yourself with these to get started on your way to better choices and a successful life.
Please let me know what you think about this.
Take care until…......and God Bless ya

4 Reasons Why You Can Do It
Benjamin Franklin
1. You are alive
People that are alive have a very big advantage. They are not dead.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to change your circumstance.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to make it happen.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to make a difference.
Because you are alive you have the opportunity to impact your generation.
There was a reason why Herod wanted Jesus dead.
There was a reason why the devil wants you dead.
Dead people are no threat to the living.
When you are alive you have the opportunity to get a picture of who you are.
When you are alive you have the opportunity to help someone.
Just because you are alive you are a threat to the enemy.
That is why there is always an attack against you.
You hear things like, “you aren’t anybody”, “you are crazy”, “you are never
going to be nothing”
Use your life to make it happen.
2. You Were Born Able
“11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.” (Exodus 4:11-12) God explained to Moses he made his mouth. No excuse is legitimate with God.
“ 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” (Numbers 13:30-31) When God says empowers people to say go and posses the land he’s telling you that the way is prepared, I gat this, just take over cause it’s yours.
How many times have you heard things that belong to other people and they don’t have it? This is because someone else took it over. When he said go posses the land, you think the all knowing God didn’t know that giants were going to be there. In any circumstance you have favor, giants or not.
3. You were chosen for it.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”(I Peter 2:9) Most definitely you were selected, picked out, chosen because God had his eyes fixed upon.
Out of all the choices in the world God chose you. When your father impregnated you mother you were created. It could have been someone else. You were the one to make it out of your mother’s womb. God chose you for a reason and you must consider yourself special. More special than candy actually you’re the Apple of God’s eye.
After all that don’t you think it will hurt God if you say I don’t want you? You were chosen for a purpose and God intends for you to fulfill that. God knows what he was doing when he made you. The choice you made can affect your journey (to better walk with God, life, relationships, better grades, scholarship, career, etc.)
4. God Has Your Back
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”(Is 41:10)
When people turn on you God will stand for you. You know why God allows it to look like you are failing or can’t do it? His strength is made perfect in weakness. The exciting part of the movie is when it looks like the bad guys win then all of a sudden…. You know what happens.
How do you see your life? By the media? It’s easy to give up around negativity. Don’t just stand by watching to see what happen. Who is going to reach this world if you don’t help?
5. You Have The Tools Needed
The Word of God
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
(Psalms 119:105)
The Name of Jesus
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
(Rom 10:13)
The Blood of Jesus
“ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
(Rev 12:11)

Why You Must Be Careful When You Are Tired
Have you ever noticed that there is a big difference in who you are when you are tired? Your motivation, faith and patience are all different. Here are just 6 things that you may have noticed when you are tired. Use this as an aid so it can make a big impact in your life and any future
decisions you have to make.
See what happens when you are tired …
1. You See Larger Mountains. Yes even the simple things feel like a burden. The tasks that don’t require much effort now feel like taking on a big job. Remember that last thing you were suppose to do?
2. You See Deeper Valleys. Often times you didn’t mind going down in the valley cause the mountain top was not that far away. The disappointments seem to be gaining strength against you and you feel like it takes to much strength to try.
3. You Are Offended More Easily. This is when you notice that little things are big things. You replay all the wrong that people have done to you. On the other hand when you have strength and energy you move on and think about the big things like your dreams and future.
4. What You Want Is More Important Than The Right Method To Get It. It doesn’t make sense to get what you want and lose what you have that is important. Be careful of what you are pursuing that can cause you your family, life and soul.
5. You Only Focus On Short Term Goals. This is why you stopped thinking and planning ahead. You must find ways to keep your energy level up cause you will not try to see beyond today. You are also not willing to invest time and energy into planning anything. Wise people think ahead.
6. Your Words Become Harsh. You are quick to answer, get even and tell people off when you would normally be of slow response and try to reason. Remember one harsh word can ruin a longtime relationship.
You will face tiredness from time to time but you must do what it takes to restore the strength and energy that will motivate you to move forward to your destiny and intended goals. Jesus encouraged us to rest. Always be willing to take a time out.
Finally do be careful of making important decisions when you are tired. It is better to delay than make a decision you will regret. When you are tired you can never see your great future. So what have you faced when you are tired?

And Who Are They?
John Lennon
Yes I know the same twenty four hours is still in a day, but some how it seems like somebody is moving the hands when you are not looking. So what I’m encouraging you to do is to help me look out for that individual to have them prosecuted : ). If you allow them to continue they will end up robbing you of many years of your life.
Can’t live with um can’t live without um. You were created to have good relationships. Consider this, from the time you came into this world you were in contact with them. They helped you come into this world, they lived around you, you met them in school.
How about this? You turn on the radio you hear them, click on the television you see them in all shapes and sizes. You go to church and then you find out some are good and some are evil. How about when you go shopping? Yes they are right there too, some have already purchased the very same things you came looking for.
“Can’t I get away for a moment?’ you say “I know I’ll go to sleep”. Low and beheld they are in your dreams. Wow! Let me tell you one last thing when you get to eternity some will be welcoming you. Who are they? .............................................................................People.

My Dream for You
American Proverb
I have a dream that one day you would desire God more than the pleasures of life. I have a dream where you would go to the House of God with great anticipation to hear the word of God more than the super bowl. I have a dream where you would desire to know God’s will more than the latest gossip.
I have a dream where you would spend time in prayer more than the time you spend on the internet. I have a dream that your emails will turn to knee mails. I have a dream that you will lift your voice to tell of the goodness of God more than you love to express your political persuasion.
I have a dream that you would hunger for God’s presence more than your favorite meal. I have a dream where the living water will quench all your thirst. I have a dream that you will keep God’s commandment more than you keep the law of the land. I have a dream where you will obey God more than you obey your employer.
I have a dream where you will let the Spirit of God lead you where your flesh can never take you. I have a dream where the Holy Scriptures will be your daily text messages. I have a dream where you will sit and watch God at work than your favorite reality show.
I have a dream where the blessings of the Lord will overflow in your life that you will be Dancing with the stars. I have a dream where you will see young people gather to glorify God more than American Idol. I have a dream that you will sing a new song to the Lord greater than Billboards all time hit song.
I have a dream where you will rise up each day with passion to log on to your Heavenbook social site. I have a dream where God will be the number one item on your search engine. I have a dream where you will upload all your praises to God and download all of His blessings for you.
I have a dream that when you life here is done where God will smile and say “Off Da Chain.”

Time 2 Go 4 It
Approximately 74,000 fans packed Miami Dolphin’s arena on Sunday February 7th 2010 to see the Indianapolis Colts battle the New Orleans Saints for Super Bowl XLIV. In addition to that,
millions viewed by television, and the internet.
These two teams went after a major title in the sports world, but only one came out on top. Both of them did well throughout the regular season but it wasn’t necessarily easy as each week they had to fight off opponents.
Now it was one more opponent standing between them and this major goal. Both of them realize that in order to win they had to show up and play their hearts out. I believe as game time draw near coaches and players motivated and encouraged their team by saying “It’s Time To Go For It.” I’ll get back to that in a minute.
I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.
Philippians 3:14 (Amplified Bible)
In the midst of opposing forces I tell you “It’s time to go for it”. If you set it you can get it. Your greatest enemy is not the devil, coworkers, family, boss. I don’t regret telling you this but YOU are your greatest enemy. Why do I say that? Cause any time God put something in your heart YOU make up excuses, you procrastinate, you say I’ll do it later, you I can’t get no help. Then when you don’t perform or get it you blame everybody else.
I want to help you with 6 things that can help you Go for it :
1. Readjust- There are times when you just have to take another approach and shift, change direction, try another method in order to get the results you need.
2. Reset – I’m sure you are familiar with losing power at home which means that you have to reset your clock. This is important if you are going to keep up with the timing of society. Even more important spiritually is to be able to keep up with God’s time flow.
3. Reflect – look at where you came from. This is what gives you the strength to face the challenges you now face cause if God did it before he can do it again.
4. Refocus - With so may distractions and temptations around you need something that will help you get back on course. Nothing better than the Word of God.
5. Renew – Yes that same feeling you get after taking a bath or shower. It makes you feel new, clean, fresh and ready to go again. The renewing of your mind is important to get your thinking on the right track.
6. Rejoice- In order to keep your joy in life you have to celebrate. Life will have many disappointments but you have to stir up the strength and find a reason to rejoice.
Meanwhile back to the Super Bowl XLIV, New Orleans Saints first time in and a new opportunity to make history for their city and State. Initially down by 10 points and not being the favored team can be a challenge. You have to love the fighting spirit of this team as they didn’t let a slow start stop them. A great team effort from The Who Dat Nation lead by quarterback Drew Brees.
So what exactly am I saying? I expect God to bring you into some first time opportunities this year. When the opportu
nity comes “Go 4 It”, every one will know your name when they ask the question “Who Dat?”
Take care until…......and God Bless ya

Keep Christ In The Picture
”And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” .Matt 1:21(KJV)
A picture is worth a thousand words. Did you notice that in some cases Jesus is missing from the Christmas story? Could this be due to the fact that he was taken out of the picture? As you know once you are out of the picture then you’re out of the story. As they say “out of sight out of mind“.
Are you worrying more about what you are getting for Christmas rather than WHO was given to start Christmas. Shouldn’t you be more concerned about giving God the praise and glory for his Son that he allowed to come into the world that you may be saved from your sins?
When the subject of a story is removed from the picture then a different story is told. As you may not like to hear, but Christmas has become more commercialized that our focus has shifted from the Creator to the creature. Yes, we tend to be more concerned about celebrating with one another than celebrating with Christ.
In some places, you will see the nativity scene as a reminder of Christ birth but let me just say he is no longer in the manger but on the throne. Yes, seated at the right hand of the Father continually making intercession on our behalf.
As you go on with your celebration this Christmas let us make a greater effort to keeep Christ in the picture that we may uphold the true meaning of the Christmas story. Remember, God is depending on me and you to lift up his Son. “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me”. John 12:32 (KJV)
Please feel free to share you view on this.
Take care until…......and God Bless ya

It’s Time For Your Baby
Erich Fromm
Have you been experiencing any pains and discomfort in your life? I know this may sound crazy, but I really hope you do. This is a really important announcement that I have to remind you about. You are about to give birth. Just in case you thought I made an error when I was writing this I’ll do it again, “YOU are about to give birth.”
I know for a long time you have been experiencing some difficulties that you really wondered what was going on. Well there was something that was growing inside of you. This will explain the discomfort you’ve been having.
Yes God put it inside you and it can’t help but to grow, because of its origin. Be very careful what you do in this season cause one bad move can cause a whole lot of complications. With the value of what you carry inside you cannot afford to have a miscarriage.
Labor pains and giving birth go together. Even though you hated being in this position you will understand and be much happier when this phase is over. As many times it felt like the whole world was caving in on you, but don’t be discouraged.
The end of your trial is soon over and you will be rejoicing with child. “A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world” John 16:21 (NIV). You will be able to show the fruit from the seed that has been deposited in you. If you just hold on a little bit longer then you will see what I am talking about.
So my prayer for you is that God would give you the strength to P.U.S.H and keep pushing. What do I mean? Let me put it like this Pray Until Something Happens. You are now in the birth position and the quicker you deliver the quicker you can celebrate your breakthrough.
Of course you will have opposition. Tell me what, whatever came to success without opposition?
Take care until…......and God Bless ya

Are You Putting Faith in the Wrong Promise?
Crosswalk.com Contributing Writer
I confess. I've done it. More than once I've done it. I believed. I believed with all of my heart that God would spare me of a painful situation. I was sure things would be as I envisioned, as I believed. The problem was, I believed the wrong promise.
Why is it that as Christians, as humans, we seem to think tough things shouldn't come our way? Why do we think we should be protected, shielded, untouched? Where did this belief come from? How is it that we latch on to this as the promise to cling to?
There are many verses that lead us to see otherwise. "In this world you will have troubles" (Jn. 16:33). "When you pass through the waters... When you pass through the rivers... When you walk through the fire" (Is. 43:2). "We are hard pressed, perplexed, persecuted, struck down" (II Cor. 4: 8-9).
I don't notice a maybe, perhaps, if, or possibly in these verses. No, instead, I see words like will, are and when. I've had it wrong so many times. I've wanted the promise to be that "it" would not, could not, happen. I was believing the wrong promise.
But even if the dreaded "it" happens, we have promises we can rely on. "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." (II Cor 4:17)
In his book It's Not About Me, Max Lucado says the following of Paul's words to the Corinthians:
God does the same with your struggles. On one side he stacks all your burdens. Stack them up, and watch one side of the pan scale plummet.
Now witness God's response. Does he remove them? Eliminate the burdens? No, rather than take them, he offsets them. He places an eternal weight of glory on the other side. Endless joy. Measureless peace. An eternity of him. Watch what happens as he sets eternity on your scale.
Everything changes! The burdens lift. The heavy becomes light when weighed against eternity.
If you look back at each of those verses, he offsets each of those situations with Himself. "You will have peace. Take heart! I have overcome the world"(Jn 16:33). "I will be with you. The rivers will not sweep over you. You will not be burned" (Is. 43:2). "We are not crushed, not in despair, not abandoned, not destroyed" (II Cor. 4: 8-9). These are just a sampling of the promises found throughout Scripture.
We are not promised a life of ease and comfort. We are not promised escape, rescue, tearless, pain-free living. We are guaranteed quite the opposite. BUT, we are promised, beyond the shadow of a doubt, God's presence, peace, joy... His very self through it all. We are promised the heavy will become light when weighed against eternity.
So often I find myself believing the wrong promise. But as Natalie Grant stated so well in her song Held: "The promise was... when everything fell... we'd be held".
That is the promise. It is one worth clinging to. That is the promise to clasp for dear life. The promise that when everything feels as if it is crashing around you, that you will not survive, that it so very dark and more than you can take... you will be held. Held in the very palm of the Heavenly Father's hand. Now that is a promise worth believing!
Friend, what promise are you believing today? Are you believing the wrong promise? Or are you believing, in the midst of it all, that you are being Held? Are you believing that regardless of what is yet to come, you will be Held?

All the Time, God is Good
There were two choices you had this morning, either to go to work happy or to go to work sad. I don’t know which one you chose but isn’t it good to have the opportunity to work? As you reflect on that I want you to always remember the message in the following article:
Cinde Lucas
Overflow Ministries
There's a popular chorus that is sung throughout the Christian Community that goes like this: God is good ALL THE TIME; All the time GOD IS GOOD. It sounds so wonderful when you hear an entire audience declare God's goodness. But what about when there's not a crowd around? What are we declaring then?
When the chips are down and the enemy is hot on our heels, that's when what we really believe comes out. In the middle of the night when your child is sick with a fever or when you have more bills than money at the end of the month, it may be more difficult to recall God's goodness. In those times we have to reach down into what we know, not what we feel, and on purpose declare that no matter what, GOD IS GOOD.
Jesus promised in Matthew 28:20 that He is with us always. Romans 8:28 says that God works all things to good for those who love Him. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that He has a good plan for us to give us a hope and a future. He is on our side and His power in us is greater than the powers of darkness that try to come against us.
Whatever you're facing today, I pray that you will remember that God is good ALL THE TIME. There is no in-between. He is always working for our good. His goodness surrounds us like a shield. He always has a good plan for us. He is abounding in grace towards us and He is committed to finishing all the good things that He has started in us. So may the words of our mouth boldly declare today and everyday that God is Good,
ALL THE TIME!
Dear Lord it seems at times that I am blinded to Your goodness. Help me to look past my circumstances and remember that You are with me. Unveil my eyes to SEE Your goodness and Your salvation. You alone know the Truth that can set me free from the darkness that tries to invade my life. You have promised that You will never leave or forsake me and so I stand on the Truth of Your Word because You are Good all the time and Your mercy endures forever. You are my Help, my Deliver, and my Strong Tower. Thank You for Your goodness Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.

A Word of Encouragement for a Season of Doubt
Katharine Butler Hathaway
A Word of Encouragement for a Season of Doubt
Bayless Conley
Answers with Bayless Conley
Being a Christian doesn't mean you won't have doubts. In fact, some of the greatest heroes of the Christian faith had doubts and crises of faith, one of which we find recorded in Luke chapter 7.
In this chapter, we find John the Baptist in an intense season of doubt and fear. He was in prison after being arrested by King Herod, and in his struggle of faith he asked of Jesus, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?"
That's right… the same John who had been there on the Jordan River when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus in the form of a dove… the same John who heard the voice of God say, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased"… the same John who had publicly testified that Jesus was the Son of God, saying, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"… doubted that Jesus was whom He said He was.
John… the great sage, prophet, and spiritual leader… struggled with doubt!
Yet through his struggle we learn two lessons that can encourage us when we find ourselves in a season of doubt.
The first lesson is to go to the right place with our doubts and fears—which is straight to the Lord.
What I love about John is that he didn't let pride keep him from going to the Lord about his doubts and fears. He could have thought, "Hey, I told everybody He's the One! What will my disciples think if I let them know I'm doubting? I'm going to look really stupid if it looks like I doubt the very things I've preached and proclaimed myself."
Yet John went straight to the Lord… and so must we!
If you're grappling with doubt, tell the Lord. He knows anyway. The worst thing you can do when you're having a crisis of faith is to allow yourself to become isolated, because Satan knows that isolation is where you are most vulnerable. When you doubt, you must draw close to God and to friends of faith who can encourage you!
The second lesson we can learn from John's crisis of faith is that in the eyes of the Lord, it's the whole journey that defines us—not just a single event.
You know, when John's disciples left and Jesus began talking to the multitude, He could have said, "John is such a disappointment! I can't believe it. He was there at the Jordan River at My baptism… God has dealt with him like no other man of this generation… he has more knowledge than a hundred men put together. He's My cousin, for goodness sake! I can't believe he's asking Me if I am the One!"
But Jesus didn't say that. Instead, He said, "Among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist."
Even though John doubted, Jesus didn't condemn him!
And when you stumble, Jesus won't condemn you because of that one misstep. Even though some people may define who you are by one stupid mistake you've made, God doesn't. He's looking at the whole journey… and your journey isn't done.
So, my friend, no matter what doubt you may be facing today, be encouraged. Jesus is always there for you… ready for you to come to Him. And don't worry if you've messed up. He won't condemn you, but instead, He looks at the whole of your life!

The Spirituality of Work
Robert Frost
Don Whitney
Baptist Press
Bill often wonders whether he is a second-class Christian because of the less-than-Christian atmosphere where he works. His occupation is good and necessary for society, but it’s also one in which liars, cheats and thieves seem to flourish. Vulgar and blasphemous language typically fills the air of Bill’s workplace.
For other believers, the problem at work is not a godless environment; it’s the gnawing lack of meaning to their labor. They trudge through tedious days on a job that often feels intolerably unimportant.
Can followers of Jesus work in these conditions and still maintain a close relationship with Him? Or is the Lord somewhat disappointed in them because of where they work or what they do?
God ordained work. Before sin entered the world, “the Lord God took the man [Adam] and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it” (Genesis 2:15). All kinds of work - paid and unpaid - are necessary in the world for us “to subdue it” according to God’s will (Genesis 1:28). People must grow food, care for children, make clothes, tend the sick, construct buildings and roads, transport goods, govern the cities and so forth.
Obviously, therefore, God intends for most people to devote themselves to what’s often called "secular" employment. Only a small percentage should be vocational pastors, church-planting missionaries and the like (even though more are needed). Otherwise, who'd work the fields, deliver the mail, build ships and cars, develop water systems, and make medicines?
Because God has ordained it, all work has a spiritual dimension. The Bible repeatedly commends useful, honest labor (see Ephesians 4:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:11; 2 Thessalonians 3:10), which shows God's intense interest in it. When we actively recognize His presence in our workplace, we acknowledge His sovereignty over all of life. And that’s basic to true spirituality.
Even if your daily responsibilities may seem dull and unimportant or cause you to associate with worldly, God-hating people, remember that “the Lord takes pleasure in His people” (Psalm 149:4). And He takes pleasure in us not just at church, but at work as well. He’s as attentive to us in our work routines as He was to Joseph in his service as Potiphar’s slave, to Jesus in the carpentry shop and to the Apostle Paul when he was making tents.
Work is not a hindrance to spirituality; it is a part of it. Even slaves were instructed by Paul not to fear that their awful condition in any way diminished their spiritual standing with God (see 1 Corinthians 7:22). Our spirituality depends upon who we are in Christ, not the circumstances of our workplace. God’s presence and favor are not limited by co-workers or job descriptions.
Enlarge your vision of your spiritual life to include your daily work. “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23-24). Present your work to God. You are working for Him.
